Hello all.
I recently got a 2 mo Quaker parrot baby. He still eats baby bird food and I feed him 3 times a day.
The problem is that whenever I try to take him out of his cage, he gets scared of my hands/fingers and try to run away. But he is tamed and I have no problem once I take him out of his cage. I can hand feed him, touch him. He even sleeps in my hand.
Why is he doing this? Also sometimes he try to fly away from me to the window. why is that also?
I only have him for a couples of days. Is this a reason?
It is so different from when I got my Conure...so I am a little worried if he is going to be okay with us.
Thanks for reading.
