Quality time with Jerry!

So Jerry has only been here a month, so far he's been so quiet and cute. He still isn't playful but he will step up and does target really well.

We have been building a strong bond for a while and I adore this bird.

Today he has been non stop crying, literally upset all day and clearly enjoying his vocal talent haha. So it's been a loud day so far.

I took him out and he has been on my shoulder and suddenly gone silent. I'm not sure if he's scared or just more comfy. But it's nice!



Didn't seen scared but when he get all itchy and ready to leave I stepped him up and popped him back on his perch. Now he seems much more calm and his normal self.

I have an overly helpful quaker helping me type. What I meant to say is, Jerry looks right at home on your shoulder. In a few weeks I'm guessing he will be comfortable enough to show you that fabulous quaker spirit.

I must say I am a bit besotted by this bird. I don't know why I'm so addicted to being around him, I love his cute little shy personality. Moderately reminds me of Loki!

Arya has taken to my sister so much! She let Jess give her treats and even got one foot on her hand. Jess barely spoke to me, they were in conversation all day! Think I have converted another parrot less human to the crew hahahaha!!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOO JERRY CAME OUT THE CAGE ON MY HAND! This is another first time deal! I'm so happy! He seems much more settled.

Today I took him out and popped him on his perch, we have just been doing some step up, target and dry kisses haha!

I took a little nap earlier because I had been to work for 6 and when he thought I'd had quite enough sleep he flew over and gave me a shout to come play again!

Arya has become much more vocal now Jerry has settled in and himself likes to call. Never been too bothered about birds calling, as long as their okay it seems natural for them to call and talk.
