Ranjan From India - My parrot need your help

Hi Guys,

My name is Ranjan, I am from India. By doing some google search I have found this forum and immediately I have joined it. I hope I will meet wonderful people here.

This is my first thread and I am directly going to post my question. I really need help. Please check my attached images.

Question: My parrot has got some kind of infection near its one eye ring. I am helpless as I don't know what is this. Till now she is totally okay but I am worried about it. Also in my area, there is no avian veterinarian with whom I can consult.

The you need to take him out of your area to an avian vet. If you absolutely cannot, you still need to take him to a small animal vet.

Hi, Is there a vet specialising in animal eye care? If you have any exotic animal parks/zoos then you could contact them to see if their vet could take a look?

I also suggest taking her to a regular vet, or calling a zoo to ask about their vet.

Did you notice the problem develop or is it possibly the result of an injury?

Welomce and be welcomed. Some kind of infection it looks like, but please take the advice above, see a vet. Parrots and birds are very different from human medical issues, please do not try to treat this yourself.
