A while back I mentioned we need a sticky for the rehome/rescue section on the procedures to follow for rehoming/rescuing a bird. A couple of members volunteered to start it and I am curious how it's coming along.

Hmmm, I'll hold up my hand.....inquiring minds want to know.....

I'm interested also.

Merle noble has emailed me the document and I have to review and add what I am going to be putting into it I believe everything noble added was amazing and I just need to add a finishing touch to my reviews I have just been very very busy at this time of year we start educational outreach with the birds and other things happen in spring so just been busy, it is my fault I think I will go finish it now or tomorrow!

Hmmm, and here we counsel newcomers that procrastination can bode dire for our feathered friends, yet we are left waiting for this new guidance.....maybe penance is in order.....an afternoon of hand wringing or maybe an evening of teeth gnashing...possibly self-flagellation with wet noodles.....hmmmmm.....

I'm just waiting for the magical answers.

Richard, you know by now that there are no magical answers! Or are there? :11:

Great! I am looking forward to reading it because I would like to compare what I have already done and see if there is anything that can be improved here.

BUt I would like offer one insight here before the final draft. LESS IS MORE. Meaning if you want people to read it and digest it, please don't write a book.:)

Was wondering if you & Noble got all the kinks worked out, JT ? ? ?

I am very sorry for the delay in getting the rehome/adoption document ready for upload. The past two weeks have been extremely busy with not only traveling to get Julio but I made the quick decision to go back to school for training so I can enter the workforce again. I got a grant for the program and will start the program on June 6th.

I got JT's input last week so I need to add his notes and it will be ready. My question is once I get it ready what is the next step to get it published on the form?

Thank you for those who looked at my document and for JT for his added input!!

Maybe just post what you have and one of the moderators will make it a sticky. Will it be possible for other members to add additional information or ask questions?

Not sure what will come out in the final wash, but from what I saw early on, it's probably one or two pages long & may not need any further tweaking.....
