Don't worry about it, you didn't do anything wrong. I've wiggled fingers at my Budgie like that and he didn't bite me. She was just giving you a love nip.

That's right, she actively encourages fighting with my fingers (play time!)... its just about knowing when to stop as she gets super excited some times and she will nip

Again, she's never drawn blood when we play but I must admit to backing off sometimes as she can get over excited at times.
