I was once highly allergic to cats! When we brought Fiyero home, he never bothered my allergies but when we got Pearl, she made me sick every single day. After one month of dosing benedryl on a daily basis I stopped getting sick and never been allergic to her since. I was surprised that I developed a immunity towards cats. But if I go into someone's house with cats, I will always know cause I can sense them as it still hits me up a bit but doesn't make me sick anymore. I'm so used to mine, they don't bother me one bit. Both were rescued from outside, Fiyero was skin and bones starving to death stuck in a tree crying for days when I found him, it got super cold that night when I got him off from the tree. He would of died soon if I didn't rescue him. Pearl was very ill when I took her in so after a couple of months on anti-biotics and dewormer meds, she gotten all better, she wouldn't last much longer outside either. But no more kitties, two is all I can handle...lol....
