My beloved & faithful companion Tucker passed away today after an extended illness. He was 12 1/2. My heart feels like its been ripped out. I miss you Tucker. You will always be in my heart. Thank you for letting me vent.:(

I'm so sorry for your loss, I hope you feel better soon. It's never easy dealing with a loss of a loved one.

So sorry to hear of your loss :(

I'm so sorry for you loss. It's so very hard to loose a cherished family member. Big hugs to you!

I'm sorry for your loss. What kind of dog was he?

Thank you everyone. He was an English Springer Spaniel. Mr. Precious keeps calling his name. Precious always loved teasing him by calling out to him.

Aw no, that must make it so much harder, dealing with Precious constantly calling for him :(. Least you know he's not in pain any more. *big hugs* :(

im so sorry, at least he was very loved, you may find comfort in reading the rainbow bridge thread, it helped me.

Dear Tammy, I am so sorry for your loss. May it comfort you to think on the fact that your furry friend is no longer suffering, rather he playing in fields of bright sunshine having crossed over the rainbow bridge. When they cross over they have renewed bodies as we do in heaven. He's playing like a frisky young dog he now is. As for his playmate it took my dog Bree about a month to get over the loss of her pal Mokie. She looked for her and didn't want to eat, but with some extra love and attention she was soon back to normal. Peace and acceptance will come it just takes time. Blessings to you! Bonita

I would like to offer my condolences. Losing a family member is never easy. I've been there too many times myself. What I can tell you, is that he is in a good place, and if you only knew
How good of a place he is in, that would comfort you considerably. I firmly believe that he and you will be reunited when the time is right. You have work left to do here, and you helped him through this lifetime. Time will help you tolerate this moment in time. Precious, now needs you to comfort her too. When she speaks his name, she may already know he is still around. Stay strong, for this too shall pass.
Godspeed.

Biggest hugs to you, I'm so sorry for your loss. He was such a lucky dog to be cared by you.
