A hybrid is likely to be MORE “nippy” because of the confusion brought on by being a hybrid. Honestly it drives me nuts when irns are called that because it’s all about how they are raised and none of my pet Ringnecks bite on a regular basis, but the rule of thumb is to expect any hybrid to exhibit the worst traits of both species; and an Alex has the bite force of a macaw.

Honestly it biggest worry would be what damage an accidental breeder will do to the mind of the bird completely by accident while honestly doing their best, and what kind of long term complications that will lead to. Most people who raise Ringnecks ruin them anyway, so I’m worried about the babies already. It would be a huge commitment and risk for you, but it may be the love of your life; really only you can decide that.
