I woke up and heard while I was just barely awake. I thought it couldn't be true, must be a hoax--he just released an album for his birthday. But when I heard it was true I just lay in bed feeling a little sad.

David Bowie was a unique and talented artist, he will be missed.

My kids loved his fantasy children's movie Labyrinth, they were depressed to hear he passed. My daughter even bought the soundtrack to that. His other music was wonderful and unique. It's been a sad day around here too. A sad one all over the world, I reckon.

my bird is named Ziggy..and i feel like he knows somehow..i have no idea if hs first owner who gave him that name was a Bowie fan, but my bird seems calmer, quiter..more cuddly these past 2 nights.. :'(
