My friend Brooke and I were out and about and stopped at this beautiful field of mustard. I wanted to try a recall flight, even with only the little harness(usually I have a long 100" rope) because of how pretty it was. Even though it was a short flight she was very confident with her take off and didn't hesitate and beg for me to pick her up.

I sent a photo to my friend who is a falconer, as he flies his birds their often, and he happened to be heading over so we waited for him. We were going to watch him fly his birds but his lanner falcon decided to fly away on us. He's still out there searching for him with his telemetry. His female applomado falcon is imprinted on people and very whiny and vocal, it's like a baby bird begging for food. I took a video of it because I think she's adorable.

Oh Rosie is such a good girl!! It looked like she was hovering over you waiting to land haha :p She certainly seems to like the outdoors :)

and that falcon is cute!

Rosies wonderful:) She looks excited !

She often hovers a little bit as she comes in to land, she often does this outside because the elements make flying a little more difficult. It's harder to land on my hand. In the video she is flying into a nice breeze that fills her wings making flier easier.

That little applomado girl is cute, hard to believe she ate her mate lol

Rosie is so cute! I love seeing your videos of her!

I just love watching videos and photos of Rosie flying! She is such a pretty birdie!

I think I saw photos from the videos on Instagram! :D it was beautiful! But the video is even better! :D :p

SHE ATE HER MATE??? WHAT??? lOl Youve got to explain further on this. :)

Rosie is so gorgeous! I want a cockatoo so bad. But they are too dusty for my allergies. Makes me so sad. Probably a good thing too. I would be broke and have a house full of birds.

I did post photos, the photos are screen caps of this video so they are very low quality lol. I want to take more photos there sometime with my good camera while she flies over the mustard, but I won't bring the long rope since it will just get tangled in the grass and pull her down.

He bought them as a pair, and they had been in the chamber together for a while. Someone told him he shouldn't of had a bathing dish in there with them, since the male looks like prey as he baths. It's really sad that it happened, and sad that he spent $4,000 on the pair just to have the female eat the male :(

That sucks your allergies won't let you have cockatoos, I feel very lucky that no one in my house is allergic to Rosie. If they were they would have to take medication because Rosie isn't leaving. How bad is your allergy? you could have a designated bird room and out door aviary's.

I forgot to mention that the Lanner falcon who flew off got hit by a car, the reason why he didn't come up on telemetry :( he probably saw a dead animal on the street and flew down for a easy meal. Really sad that it happened, his name was Tommy and he was a wonderful partner to my friend.

As you all know I love seeing Rosie fly in slow motion, so her's the video of her with the flying part in slo mo :D I accidentally made the past part 1X speed.
