I am the owner of a beautiful Galah, the name Rosie is not original but it does suit her personality. We were unsure what to call her the first day we had her so tried Rosie then the following day we heard her screech and went running in and took her cover off her cage and she said Rosie in such a sweet voice her name has stuck ever since. It was apparent that she made the screech noise because a piece of thread surprised her from her cover. She sounds like a 3 year old. She is now 2 1/2 years old.
