Routine and diet ?

So Bobby's a little monster In a good way.

He eats almost everything I give him, but has started to prefer carrots slightly blanched. Loves fruit and some other veggies.

I've been playing 'fetch' again with him today.

It takes ages for him to realise I want him to go after his ball, he kind runs at it, then runs to me for a treat, till he finally picks it up and then gives it to me. I only reward him when he does it right though.

Just kinda worried over his habit of begging last thing at night, he likes to come over and hound me. He's actually taken to banging his beak on my chest for something. And he tries to edge closer up my arm so he can nip my hands. I only reward good behaviour, but I think he's gotten used to the fact he gets a few more pine nuts before bed.


So how much is too much. He had four pine nuts while training, then another four before bed?

And what is the beak banging about?

Lol my conure is a pine nut addict also, she'll do anything for them. I use them as motivational treats. If I'm working with her training she can get up to ten a day (they're small), but that's not every day. I completely ignore begging, the more you give in the more they do it, she knows pine nuts have to be earned. I also put them in a foraging toy while I'm gone.
