Hey, all. Quick question.

I was just going to remove Sharpie from a surface using a tiny bit of rubbing alcohol. My bird was sitting near me in the room, and I moved her to the other room before doing this. I was just wondering if doing this was entirely necessary. I know that many cleaners can be harsh for birds, and rubbing alcohol definitely has a scent, but was a moistened q-tip enough to warrant this?

I just tend to be overly paranoid and would like to know how paranoid I need to be, haha. Thanks!

I don’t know for sure but I think your paranoid instincts serve you well, you just cannot be too careful in keeping your bird away from strong smelling fumes like that. I’d do the same thing myself - always better safe than sorry!
