I'm not sure who posted about this seed but THANK YOU> The blend I was feeding big bird had mostly sunflower in it. He would pick out the sunflower and just dump the rest. Drove me nuts mainly because I was worried he would get hungry before I could get home from work
So today I was off work and headed to Petsmart. ( I really do not like Petsmart ) Only pet store within a hour and half from where I live and the large bird food selection is not good. Just a block down was a new Petco . They had a full Isle of nothing but Seed and food for birds. Sad selection of Toys but had a nice Cement Perch i picked up and the Safflower seed . It has other things in it but check to make sure it did not have vitamin K and a lot of fillers. Also picked up some Fruit Blend. Good thing about this store is they said if My Bird does not like it bring the bag back and they will give me 100 % refund. If i don't keep receipt then its just a store credit but damn thought that was pretty good.
Also Sunday we cooked Chili in the Crock pot. about time it was ready I went to feed Big Bird some veggies and thought Dang he can eat everything we put in the chili except the Carne Assada so I picked him out some beans , peppers. Put some of his Brown rice in a bowl and mixed it all together with some of the sauce from Chili........... I had one happy bird
And as I type this he is dumping his bowl. I really will have to put some of those attached to the cage when his new cage gets here
Oh and I also picked up 100 ft of Sisal twine. Gonna make SOMETHING with that LOL
