saved by the Bling !

I was attempting to file my sons U2's nails this morning, and she obviously didnt like it, she struck at me but only caught my wedding ring, hence I was saved by the bling. She didnt try to bite when I had to pull a broken blood feather last night when she over preened, but she sure didnt want a manicure.

I dont think she intended to bite as she just hit the ring with the top of her beak. I am sure it was a warning to stop though. Im leaving that job for the vet fom now on.
