Box came today..just one big box..not sure why the website said 2 but I guess it does look like they used 2 to make one big one lol. The scale is nice, I hope the batteries are easy to find. I test weighed him and he was 430g. We'll get a more accurate weight tomorrow morning before brekkie.

He's not too sure yet about the java stand but I'm sure he'll come around. I tried bribing him with a Nutriberry which he started eat, dropped and then he christened the stand.

Here is my order, the scale, the stand and the rest are free goodies.(not the Mr Coffee lol) He's not quite sure on the fingertraps yet but I guess I'll keep saving them up for the day he figures out they are good to shred.

It's hard to really tell how big it is because of how I have it on the table. This is a picture from the narrow end and it is alot wider, this is just how I wanted it on my table.

Busted with a Nutriberry! He's probably thinking "Not another picture *again*". Yes that is an eyelet hook there are two of them to hang toys from on different branches. I'm very pleased, especially considering the sale price!

The stand and scale both look really nice! Jasper looks right at home on the tree.

Merlin loves those finger traps. I just bought her like 120 of them, lol!

Love that stand! What size did you buy?

Love the photos and stand. I have a large bag fulll of those finger traps. Rosie wants nothing to do with them for some reason. Nice buy!!

Yikes..he hasn't figured them out yet. The only ones he started chewing up were the ones stuffed in one other other toys I had gotten that had a bunch of stuff in it. I like the stand too because it has different sized branches for him to climb around on and exercise the feets.

It was one of the med ones.

And Icywolf was right, it comes in 2 pieces. I'm saving the box and the packaging because it's really starting to look like I'll be moving the end of June. Love my place here but I'm not going to be able to maintain it if I can't find work.

My birds love finger traps. I put nuts, peanut butter, nutriberries, etc. into them. They love them empty also.

Maybe he just hasn't figured it out yet. His poor taco bit the dust today. He' so funny..I get a basket and put lots of goodies in it..he's got another basket toy filled with fingertraps, loofahs, sticks and things..he's rather tear apart the basket itself..kind of sad..poor baskets..we could refill those..you know..if you didn't..shred them..::sigh::

Merlin really likes stuff made out of the basket weave. She does have 3 toys like that and they are her favorites.

That is a good idea Bill. I think I will try hiding treats inside. Lol I need spring clothes badly but instead I took the money and ordered from MSBS. I did this last night and the box is being delivered today!! No one can beat that service. She has sold out of some of the stands already.

One of Merlin's toys from her previous home had peanuts stuffed into some of the wood parts. Now, honestly, they didn't look like real peanuts to me and I thought they were fake, lol! So here this toy had been hanging in her cage all this time without my realizing they were real. Had I realized it, I would have removed them by now not knowing how old they were, and I have a fear of bacteria on peanut shells. Well, last week, after her bath, she finally pulled one out and started eating it. Then I knew they were real, lol!

I am going to try hiding stuff in the finger traps as well for her. I have to think the only reason she hadn't eaten those peanuts sooner is that she didn't see them.

You must be pretty close to her? Usually takes my orders 3-4 days to WI. That's pretty darn quick to get them!

She had sold out of the styles I was looking at before and I left her a note on fb, she said the sale would be going to a while but she didn't give a timeframe. She also said she was getting more in so if you really see a style you want that is out of stock, maybe email her and ask if she'll be getting more in before the sale ends.

This stand is great, I can't say enough about it. He's getting used to climbing around on it already. It's nice because I can have him in the kitchen when I'm doing things, unlike Tico he can't just fit on my shoulder.

This morning I took him out there and he was focused on the Mr Coffee box until I pulled his food from the freezer and showed him. I explained we are making breakfast..I said breakfast a few times and I swear I heard him say it in that mutter. Could have been wishful thinking

Oh yeah so I take him out to weigh him..looked..he's done his morning business..but silly me, not knowing when he did it. I should have held him over the small trash can and asked if he had to go again. He went when I put him on the scale :20: Sorry pal, that was my fault.

Yes, he is getting somewhat potty trained. He knows what "poop" means and if he has to go will go in the trash when I say it, if he needs to go. If nothing happens after saying it a couple times I let it go. He does give me these looks like "why you saying poop? I don't have to go"

Lol, I got Merlin to poop into the trash can last night as well. Because of her Borna, she builds up this huge poop all day and she still hadn't gone by 7pm last night and I was getting really worried. Twice I saw her get into position and it didn't come out. So I was holding her over the trash can last night saying, "Poop! Poopy! Potty!" and every word I could think of short of cuss words for it. Finally she let loose. It was nice to get that huge thing into the trash can instead of on me, my shoes or the floor.

OK guys I put Rosie right on the rim of the toilet and say the magic word and she lets loose. The cute thing is she always looks back to see what she did. How is that for a video??

I live in Md. which is not too far from NJ. You should see the toys we have for her now. Got some really good ones. Much more sturdy than I could ever make them. Of course Rosie starts right out eating the corn cobs and making a big mess.

I have a bottle brush stand which I got prior to finding MSBS. It has held up pretty well.

Oh by the way Wulf I lived in the northwoods of Wicsonsin for two years and boy was it cold and snowy.

You should take a video:D I did actually try the toilet one night. I thought maybe in her previous home she might be used to using either the trash can or toilet so I tried both.

I don't think Jasper could safely use the toilet, when he goes he gets all hunkered waaaaay down and would probably just slip right in. Now that would be a dream if I could get the birds and the cats toilet trained.

Whereabouts in MD do you live? If I move to VA maybe we'll practically be neighbors. My friend lives in the Winchester area.

Merlin also practically stands vertical when she goes and would likely also fall into the toilet. She's also clumsy sometimes because of her lack of vision. She came running to her food bowl just a little bit ago because I gave her her pellets after she finished her medications, and tripped over a toy along the way.

I love off of Route 70 west on the way to Frederick Md. It is nice and open here. But of course homes are always popping up.
