scared rex :(

hey ive had my rex since he was 5 months old he was hand raised and was tame , where i had to work away for 3 months my mother never got him out and now that im back hes scared and goes to bite my fingers that really hurts, he still takes food out of my hand and when he flies out of the cage will come sit on my leg and let me pick him up with my arm to put him back in anyway i can stop him fromt biting also hes just started talking saying hello very quielty any more info i need to know ? also i attacthed a photo dpoes he look female or male ? been told male by a few people but just want to double check

Hi Becca. I'm sure with lots of patience and TLC your Rex will come out of his shell. Offer him plenty of goodies, do lots of sweet talking, and take it one day at a time.

Maybe he's just mad at you for going away? Sit with him and talk to him and give treats.

thanks yeah he flew out of his cage yesterday and say on my stomach while I watched a movie he didn't go for my fingers other he was just chewing on my jumper I think he's getting the slowly
