severely clipped wings

I broke my own rule when I fell for Dali and then begged hubby to buy him/her. I do not purchase animals in pet shops. Years of rescuing rats taught me a very hard and painful lesson. Yes they are sold cheaply, what people do to them is horrendous.

That all being said......Dalis wings are clipped pretty badly Will this be a one molt fix? This poor bird has zero flying capability, no flutter, nothing. Just a complete thunk if he goes off the cage or play stand.

It could simply be that I was used to my parrotlet being able to fly despite clipped wings. He came from a breeder btw.

Yes, one molt will replace all his feathers. In the mean time - lots of climbing toys! Ladders, whole branches, rope perches, anything to help him get where he needs to go
