Some of you might remember that I saved a conures life from a stray/neighbours cat. I found her owner and found out that she was abused and they didn't want her anymore. I was unable to her mate and have moved houses. I did place a few lost adds on him(her mate) but they were keep getting reports and taken down.

Anyways I have updates on her progress!
She now will kind of step up on my hand. That is a huge improvement. Well she now knows that she can perch on my hand. xD
She will now let me give her scritches and she loves them!
She loves to cuddle up to me and loves snuggling.
She has a small bald patch on her head, the vet said it was from her mate plucking it. Her beak is also too long and the vet said I s

And she needs a name!

Name it Curiosity... cause curiosity gets the cat....I'm thinking in reverse here lol, cause the cat almost got curiosity in this case...

Her tail feather in that pic has come out now, it was growing out wrong and it seems she had pulled it out. I check the base (where the feather was growing from and it seems fine).

Trying to bribe her with sunflower seeds, though she was really interested,

She does this when she really wants scritches and after ive given her lots of scritches.

I was going to call her Lucky, but my brother said I cannot as that is his cats name

She's lovely I really like the name Hope for her too. Or I have a little conure and I sometimes call her my Sweetpea. Thats a cute name

Has she seen a vet? I would get her a PBFD test. Im not sure how it affects conures but some of her feathers and her long beak look suspect.

She has been tested and got the all clear.
That was the vet's concern at first so he tested for it.

She is moulting atm so she has lots of pin feathers coming through.

Also when I put her found add up her last owner contacted me (if you find my last forum you will see what they told me) said she was a breeding pair that they tried to tame? Her mate was very tame but she wasn't. According to her last owner. Dont some birds pick/pluck feathers for nesting?
