Should i get him or not???...

Hi guys and gals,
I've got a chance to take in yes another bird, A Eastern yellow mantel rosella.
He is absolutely beautiful and also just being weaned off his baby food .So I will be the first owner. The breeder is giving me this bird as I did him a favour a while back and this year his breading pair had 7 eggs and hatched 7 eggs. I thought they only had 3-5 eggs and lucky to get them all hatched.
Anyway I so want this bird but I don't want my Ekkie to get jealous of the little guy as I have had problems in the past with Caesar Latching onto on of our ringnecks. But in saying that if I introduce them over a few weeks he might come around....
Any advice would be fantastic

I wouldn't let them out in the same room at first and when you do make sure you are very close by and make sure when you come in the room to greet your ekkie first and last before you leave I have a very jealous of new birds conure and he usually hates me for about a week after a new bird but everytime he's nice I give him treats and make sure he gets the first and last of my attention when I'm in the birdroom. I'd say go for it if you really want this bird!

I would go for it as those are absolutely gorgeous birds! But just don't let them out together. I don't trust my male either as he went after another bird last time.
