SI Eclectus - Introductions...

So! Went and had a look at a male Eclectus today for my newer female (Solomon Island) and he is indeed a Solomon Island Eclectus! AH HAHAHA! SCORE! We will probably get him, however I was wondering if anyone had some great tips for introducing/warming up the male and female to each other?

I don't have many tips, but I do know it's a good idea to quarantine the new bird for about 6 weeks before you introduce them to each other.

Before they officially meet out of cage, maybe set the cages near each other so they can see each other, then offer lots of yummy treats, and then remove the new bird again back to quarantine room. I would do this a couple of times before out of cage time together. Should make them have positive association with each other.
