our freezer quit working a few months ago and i had to toss a bunch of food for Sylvarie because i noticed moths breeding in his food and flying around. i need a simple way to be rid of the moths and not hurt Sylvarie or the bunny Smokie. the food in in a small freezer now but still they are reproducing.

thanks
Dennis

Good luck with that Dennis, way easier said than done - those seed moths are a pain in the you know where and get into everything. There are lots of posts on this subject because many of us have had that same problem, and it can take months to get rid of them. In fact if you look on your ceilings you will probably see little maggots - they have this ability to stick to the ceiling as they crawl around - so gross. I'm going to look for some posts for you but you can try using the search feature above as well, just type in 'moths'.

Yeah Dennis, just go up to SEARCH beside NEW POSTS above, type in 'moths' and you will get a lot of hits and many of them are very recent (thsi is a topic that comes up all the time lol). As a result of those moths I keep all of my bird food, dog food, cat food, even my goldfish and koi pond food, in the fridge and/or freezer. I never want to get those months again !
