Any kind of smoke (be it from a cigarette, fireplace, incense, candles ect....) can be damaging to a parrots very delicate lungs. Anything unnatural with a strong odor (perfume, cologne, air freshener, chemical cleaners ect...), as well as using Teflon cookware (releases odorless, but very toxic fumes) are also a no-no with parrots. I just can't see how bringing a parrot into a home with 3 "indoors" smokers plus whatever sprays and stuff are used to cover the smell would be a good idea. Even the best air purifier on the planet isn't going to be able to remove everything toxic to birds going on in this house.
Another thing I see that suggests you may not be at a point in your life where a parrot is right for you is the fact it would live in your bedroom and not have access to the rest of the house. Parrots of all sizes (even small ones) need 4-6 hours a day outside their cage, and being confined to a bedroom during playtime isn't going to be very mentally stimulating for the bird. Considering the bird needs a good chunk of time with you each day, how will your roommates feel when your holed up in your room with the bird (considering it can't go into the rest of the house)? Depending on the size of bird, you likely won't be willing to give up your limited space for a appropriate sized cage either. A parakeet/cocktail sized cage would fit in most rooms, but a cage for medium-large parrots might as well be like adding a second bed to your room plus storage for supplies. Do you have that kind of space? What about when the bird gets noisy and wakes up the house at 5am? How do your roommates feel about that? If I were you, I would hold off on any type of pet until I had my own place. By all means, continue researching breeds of birds you may be interested in owning one day, and perhaps you could even volunteer at a local avian shelter to gain experience with parrots and give some deserving birds much needed love and affection without taking on the responsibility of having one at home.
