Snow Day so Toy Making!

Snow day so of course I decided to make toys instead of doing my class work...


Loki decided he didn't want these though...


Don't know why I don't just dump a bunch of toy parts in a basket instead


Fine I'll come play with the finished ones mom...

And the mess. No matter what I do it always ends up like this when I make toys. There is a similar phenomenon when I decide to cook...


I have found my conures love these kind of foot toys hopefully it gives you some ideas! My tiels also like when I make a string of beads with the plastic lacing substituting as string. They will snap the knot off the end and watch it all crash to the bottom of their cage. I swear there is glee on their faces whenever they do it!

Lily loves watching the birds but in a they look like great toys kind of way Shes only a kitten but she is getting over it! It probably helps that she gets her butt kicked by both of my gcc when she gets too close I have 5 cats and the gccs do like putting them in their place! Monster used to sit on the play stand and drop food on our one cats head when she was still a kitten. I remember one time she was looking up at him and he nailed her right between the eyes

Most of the toy parts are from Michaels, Jo Ann's, and mybirdstore.com. Some of the plastic lacing is from WalMart. We also have a couple baby toys that my sun likes to chew on and toss on the ground. Oh and the puzzles are from both amazon and WalMart almost forgot about them. We looked it up and the ink is soy based because of kids liking to chew on them.
