Great job!
Gracie absolutely adores meeting people & having people talk to her & coo at her. She makes the most gorgeous flirty eyes at others, puts head down for scritches, bobs her head like she's dancing, puts her foot up and says C'mere, c'mon to them. I'm telling you the show she puts on every time makes everyone want to reach out and pet her.
It's an act.. a rouse .. a brilliantly laid trap to lure her prey in as soon as they do .. she'll take her ounce of flesh as payment for the show lol
The hysterical thing is no matter how many times I warn folks "she'll bite ya", my boss, the fed ex / ups etc. they all eventually say the same thing. "you think so? I think she's really used to me now / warmed up to me etc." Nope and Nope.
The only exception to the rule besides me is .. if someone walks up confidently without hesitation and without all the talking/cooing foreplay and just tells her to step up - she'll do it without bloodshed lol but I do need to re-enforce with an "easy" command or she'll eventually start beaking fingers/arm and testing their endurance.
If I tell her to be easy/gentle and pass her to someone she'll behave best
I did recently discover that I think she's designated me as HER dog that she can utilize as an Uber service. She now calls me like I call the the dog all the time.
clucks/clicks making the dog calling sound, says "C'mere" .. clucks/clicks some more, says "come on now", (as soon as I start to walk over) she says "aww that's a good girl now lets go outside" or go for a ride, go eat etc. whichever activity she wants"
I've been "owned" by pets many times in life - but Gracie takes it to a whole new level lol Imagine it occurring with a house full of people
