Poppy - Crimson Bellied Conure
Hello ladies and gents, as some of you know I will be getting a baby crimson bellied conure soon, though no one in our pet store knows of this and they only know of "conures" do the CBC eat the same diet as the rest of the conures out there? Do you have information of the basic needs too?

Kind regards

Sarah.

Crimson Belly's as far as I'm aware are exactly the same in dietry requirements and exercise, basic needs etc as any other standard conure out there.

Fresh fruits and veggies, nice pelleted diet, daily exercise and interaction. Fresh water daily, cage changed daily. Scrub down once a week.

Basically, everything a parrot should have. I've not heard or come across anything specifically about CBC that stands out to me. They're quiet (in comparison) love to play, love to exercise, love to cuddle. They're hardy birds, so not prone to diseases like some birds.

Pretty standard loving conure who sounds like she'll be an absolute blast! (I bet you're so excited!)

Thats great then, because if they´re going have similar needs etc as the other conures then its less for me to worry about as a new owner :)

Yes we are so excited, actually I cannot express how excited we are :D:rainbow1:

I get giddy just thinking about it for you!

They are hardy birdies, nothing 'special' like with lories and nectar etc. So wouldn't worry. Just focus on getting baby home and fussing over what toys to get her! ;)

We´ve showed friends photos and the look on their faces like "wow that is a beautiful bird!" I believe they are quite rare in captivity :) Special for me.

You don´t know how relieved I am, I was so worried!

They are stunning! Quite a few blots of colours through them. When is she arriving?
