Something wrong with my green cheek conure's toe

My Captain is 10 months old, he's been with me for a month, recently he started to keep biting the same nail and it's turning into pink color. Should I take him to the vet?

Has he been to the vet since you got him? It would probably be a good idea to take him in and have him checked over.
