Spoiling the parrot!!

Omg!! I got so lucky, last night we were heading to the bf's overnight. I wanted to pick up a specific kind of carrying case, I go into Petland, and go down the isle. I didn't find a carrying case but...... I found a PARROT PLAY STAND ON SALE!!!! Normally like 75 79 dollars.. now on sale for 32 YAY!!!!! It was the display stand, so it was a little beat up, had to be tightened etc, but I know Jacob, it's wood, so he will completely eat it eventually.

So far only toys he really likes are wood.. Plastic and paper suck, well unless its a candy wrapper cause then he looooooves it... I think it may be cause they are shiny? So either way, Jacob now has a play stand as well...

Thank you guys.. He hasn't used it yet though, he is out a lot and he uses me as a gym period climbing around on me.. He only uses it for a few seconds when I put him on it. But he's the same with his toys.. He only plays with them when I lock him in the cage.. If the cage is open he either sits on top, eats, or hangs out with me..
At least now he has an option, and I think Im going to build like a little rope thing so it goes together with the cage so he can reach them from one another like a little birdy super castle...

I may be spoiling him, but he's out of his cage 5-8 hours a day.. (may be why he's so quiet LOL)

Thanks guys.. so far he has barely used it... lol I think I may have gotten a gym a tad too big.. He has problems using his beak to climb around on it.. But once I will get more toys it will be easier for him I think.. Ill make some adjustments...

But again, he only plays with toys when Im not around...
