Perjo had to stay at the breeders tonight. Her neighbor to the left is a sweet talking Amazon, the neighbor to the right is a Cockatoo that won't stop screeching horrible sounds.

Please let Perjo come home learning something from the Amazon. OMG the Cockatoo was annoying, I hope it's just because it is nervous. I cannot even describe the noise it was making and it was making the noise for over 45 minutes straight. Yikes.

Perjo did not look comfortable when I left, hopefully it was because the place was crowded with people and not because of the Cockatoo.

Not sure what to say, other than: Wow, glad I have not had to do that!

At the end of Jonesy's stay here,he was screaming from the second he woke up until AFTER being covered up for bed time..His screems were so freaking loud and long it had my head pound.
I was terribly concerned for Amy. He does NOT scream..never has...and I didn't want him to LEARN how to scream from Jonesy.
I didn't have to worry..there were more than one time Amy would yell out to that "little beady-eye'd monster" SHUT UP!!!

Jonesy is now happily thriving in a new home and his new parronts adore him and he adores them.

Noooo, the poor cockatoo was simply talking! A Star Trek Universal Translator would transform into beautiful speech and singing!

I think if I had a bird universal translator it would be fun for about half an hour, then I'd really understand what clark means when he's grunting and gruffing and all the grrr noises he makes when he doesn't know the english words.

We're fairly convinced that Goofy occasionally tells Oscar to shut up. Oscar doesn't scream all that often. He's noisy first thing in the morning, then once every blue moon he'll scream at random times during the day. We taught him "inside voice", and that works 80% of the time. The other 20% Goofy has no tolerance for the obnoxious white intruder.
