I’ve seen vitamins for like, red factor birds, and it gives them a red color right? What would happen if you gave it to a bird that isn’t red? Would they adapt a reddish hue or something? I assume it’d be safe, but like, what would happen?

I don't think so? Interesting question but I'm pretty sure only specific birds can change colors with particular diets.

food doesn't change color - unless it's unhealthy/deficiency and the feathers become darker/yellowish

Special food for colour, I've only heard of for Canaries. Red factor canaries' colour will fade if they aren't fed "colour food". I am pretty sure it only works for Red factor canaries.

These sorts of supplements don’t change a bird’s color, but rather help support their natural ability to produce that color. Really, more than anything, they seem to help support healthy feathers in general which will make any bird’s natural color more vibrant šŸ™‚.

Ohhh okay, I get it now! Thank you, all! Birds are so interesting, aren’t they?
