Sun conure behaviour

Hi.

My bird has an obsession with burrowing under my wife and my shirt and starts grinding her beak and talking (mimicking) and just chills out. We’ve tried to stop her from doing it but she continues. Has anyone had this or a similar experience?

My Sun Conure has done this since he was a baby, especially when I wear a sweatshirt. He likes to crawl inside and snuggle up on my chest and does the beak grinding too. It just means he's happy and content. There's no need to stop them from doing it unless it bothers you or your wife.

In the evenings i'm on the sofa with my Sun Conure watching TV and he lays out on the end cushion next to me in his little area I set up for him. I'll keep my hand next to him while he lays there and I can feel his beak grinding while he's napping and it's just a good sign that they're content.
