sun conure help

When I let my 3month old sun conure out he imediatly flys away up on top the curtins. When I try an get him he flys away. But before he could fly he would alaways cuddle with me now he just wants to always be up there. Is this a permenent thing.

The solution to this one is simple. Get the wings clipped by a person that knows what they are doing. I suggest an avain vet. visit if you have not done so already. They are fun birds. Enjoy!!

You should get the wings clipped or even buy a flight suit with a leash. Whatever you think will be best!

The parrot is flying up high because that is what all parrots do. He will come down on its own when he is hungry. Instead of clipping his wings, why don't you try to teach him recall?
