Sun Conure owner

I am new to sun conures health and care but learning. His name is Nicki and he is 3 years old. I had purchased it from an elderly lady that could not care for him due to having health issues. Her daughter had told me that the bird is "healthy as a horse". He is doing this strange flicking or twitching of the head, it is really hard to discribe but very weird... I was unable to attach video from documents or downloads..
Does anyone know what this is.. He has a vet appointment Thurday.. He is also a screamer and it is loud !!

He's very pretty! My sun does a head "bobbing" thing whenever he hears a clicking sound like from the keyboard (he's doing it right now) but not really flicking or twitching of his head. As for the screaming...yes, he is LOUD. Luckily he doesn't scream all that often..but when he does it right in my ear it deafens me for a couple seconds. They (suns) are known to be loud. How long have you had him? Maybe he is just getting comfortable and settling in and will quiet down when he gets used to it. I don't know about the twitching though...maybe the vet will be able to tell you what that could be. Good luck and keep us updated.

He does the head bob but watch out!!! He is such a sweet bird and can bighten up a rainy day. He is spoiled to already but I never tell anyone that..lol.. He has some really neat things he does like knock on the cage to come out at 5 am..lol.. Just wish he would knock to go in..

He is gorgeous. I love Sun Conures, they are funny little characters.
