Hey all,

I've had my Sunday Conure, "Feathers" almost a year now. It has been a good experience and all is well. However, I've been traveling for work (unexpectedly) and will be doing more traveling in the coming year.

My parents have been caring for Feathers in my absence but they aren't able to continue - and commit to more long term.

Thus, I'm exploring re-homing in order to provide a more stable home with less back-and-forth and more attention.

I'm not looking to "get rid of" this feathered friend. Nor am I looking to give away. I'm looking for serious owners for a great bird.

I live in the Tucson, AZ area.

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

I wish you good luck...rehoming is very hard. You have come to the right place.

I live in the Tucson area and would definitely be interested in meeting Feathers to see if he would be a good match for my flock. I currently have a 18-year-old rescue Congo African Grey and plan on adding to my little family soon.

Thanks for your reply. The forum won't let me send PM but feel free to send me your contact info (email and/or phone) and I'll be in touch. Thanks so much.

You can send a PM to suncon with your info, if you like. :) She/he (????) can receive messages, but can't reply just yet.

Ahhhhh, I don't know which is cuter, the bird or your daughter. But either way, that bird loves your daughter and she seems to love the bird. I hope you can work something out that would allow you to keep him, but if not, you are doing the right thing by finding him the right home.

Good luck,
mike
