So I’ve taught my tacocaT to step up, target, and we are mostly good with spin (we started today!!) what should we work on next? Wave? I want to get him to be able to have a completely hands off vet visit (his microchip does his temp) so I need to be able to check his feet, his wings, his vent, and his mouth. How do you train an open mouth?

I had a video but it’s too large, even at 7 seconds :(

I don't know much training (yet!) but maybe work next on him laying back into your palm? I've seen it most often as perched on your hand then fall back into the other hand while still holding your finger. It was recommended to me as the groundwork for medical cares.

TacocaT is doing so great! It's fun to see how much he's grown already with you :)
