Teka photo time line. (super pic heavy!)
Like most of you I am a big photo taker. Whats the point of pics unless you share them. So here is a bit of Teka from when we adopted him until now. I'll keep adding to it if anyone is interested in more progress. Oh, and feel free to share your own feathered friends here if you like, its all about sharing.

You will notice through this time line that there are continuous improvements to all parts of the avian environment. This is a constant cycle that we are happy will never end. Getting "things" and improving safety for the birds is as enjoyable for us as it is for them. I bring this up because I'm not going to screen photos in fear of some opinions. A good example would be Teka's cage on day 1 had blue plastic food and water bowls because it was Sunday and we had not been able to get his new stainless steal ones yet. I also want to say that the birds are NEVER left unattended while out of the cage, never! There are power cords in some photos, like at my computer, but we take great care to prevent the birds from coming into contact with them. With that, the play stand is also covered with natural fiber ropes. We know the risk this poses, they are never out of site. You may even be able to see that these things sit next to my desk, where I spend my whole day.
THANKS FOR READING/LOOKING!
Meeting Teka for the first time at the rescue.
The first cage stages, at first missing bowls.
Meeting his cage
A few things added.
And more added
First, and short lived play stand. Just needed to make due until java tree arrived.
