That moment when your bird (mine a GCC) begins chattering as if he's carrying on a conversation and pacing back and forth.

So cute.

Just had to share how Peep is fitting in - attitude and all! Love the 'tude, it's part of the GCC charm I'm learning.

We love him! Had African grays for years but when I had to relocate (lived in Africa as a missionary for 25 yrs) I wasn't allowed to bring them home and I mourned losing them for ages! Wasn't prepared for how much personality this little Peep has. He's won us all over and now that he's chattering we totally done!

I know what you mean. Tonight, Mango flies up on top of our curtain in the living room adjacent to our kitchen, dining room. This is after he ate and we cleaned his beak of course.
Anyway, we're just setting down to eat dinner, my wife, son and I. Mango does his evening entertainment! Every day some new sound comes out. He laughs at appropriate times, tries to say a couple words you can just barely make out. Today, though I sware he sounded like a steel guitar! We play the radio everyday for the animals while we are gone. Usually classical, but for the past few days its been older country music. Can't wait for him to belt out classic Johnny Cash tunes!:52:

Haha Ella can be sooo mischievous and naughty during the day and then as soon as it hits about 8-9pm all she wants to do is cuddle against you in as tight a corner she can find! Her favourite places are my neck, under my arm and sometimes even down my shirt [emoji87][emoji23]

I love GCCs! Every morning, when I open up their cage, Fiji comes out nicely to be held over the trash for her morning poop...but then Sundance acts really crabby, chattering away, like he's telling me off...he acts like Oscar the Grouch every morning and wont step up until he's good and ready, lol. If you try to get him to step up and leave the cage before that, you'll get a good bite!

These birds are so funny, they have brought so much joy into our lives!

That moment when your gcc is scratching with his foot and accidentally gets his toe claw stuck in his nose, making him sneeze and complain loudly.
