My conure loves to beak and sample all fabrics. She often makes little pinpoint holes in my clothes. And if I wear jeans my cat tries to use my thighs as a scratching post, lol! I now wear sweat pants when I'm home!
I have 3 sets of clothes. One for work, casual that can be seen in public and what I call my "barn clothes". At home I'm in my barn clothes. I clean stalls, clean bird cages and a litter box, and get covered in cat hair and pooped on by the birds. And chewed on by the conure, lol!
My ex bf hated how I was dressed at home, but I can't see ruining nice clothes when I'm an animal person, and I also do all the remodeling on my house, build furniture and service my truck, tractors and motorcycle.
