I care for and manage a bonded pair of Parrotlets.
I'm watching a new release in Netflix called the Dinosaurs, new this year. I am on episode 3
and it takes you through the development of flying birds, (Dinos) and a flock of blue parrot type birds just attacked a Pterasaur oh how is that spelled lol, you know what I mean. I am quite enjoying it. I think there are six episodes, and I am on 3 Empire. Anyways it's great
showing how our birdies developed. Narrated well and visually very well done I think.
The attacking birdies were blue and narrator said they are very territorial especially at
breeding time haha right away I thought Parrotlets! So if you get a chance I recommend it.
:-)

Have seen the full series and it is very good. That said, we are still very early in the definition of the feathered dinosaurs with far more knowledge coming as DNA sourcing becomes more available. At this point feather color is still a bit iffy. Better definitions are coming. Blue is a hue that can be derived from minerals and hence, it makes sense that bird feathers maybe blue.
