I'm taking him to his vet tomorrow for the last time. They're going to get his foot prints in clay for me and he will be cremated.
His ashes are going to help the Coral Reef.

I am very sorry for your loss. Otto was a beautiful yellow budgie. Thank you for posting your plans on how to handle things after a parrot passes away. I have a sick parrot, and I’m really worried she isn’t going to make it. I wasn’t sure how to handle a parrot passing away as I’ve never been through that. My heart breaks for you.

You brought me joy that I didn't have the moment I saw you. You healed my broken heart and were a ray of unlimited sunshine in my life. I love you so much my handsome little man. I'm so sorry we have been apart so long, I wasn't healthy and it wasn't safe for me to be with you. I wanted you with me with every fiber of my being. I thought about you every moment. You are the best birdie in the world and you will be greatly missed!

Oh no! I’m so sorry! As one budgie lover to another, my heart goes out to you. Otto was such a beautiful little guy with so much personality. With his bright yellow color he was like a tiny, living ray of sunshine. My deepest condolences.

Thank you everyone! Your words mean a lot! I got to hold and kiss my boy one last time.
His footprints will be ready in a couple days.
Otto will be helping the Coral Reef with his ashes. Otto's Dr was just as devastated as I am. She came out hugged me and talked a few before having a surgery.
