Today I discovered a new side of the Doodle bird>>>JEALOUS SIDE

She was munching her freshies and Smokey jumped up in my lap for smooches and scratches. I'm talking and scratching on him when Doodle starts vocalizing her DISPLEASURE at my attention to Smokey....that LOUD ear splitting "wreek wreek" with babble in between, then the little bugger takes her food cup and tosses it off to thr floor!
I asked her "what'chu do" and she stands there all tall with a " got your attention" look !

I think Smokey has some serious Doodle dive bombing coming in the future!!

Isn't it amazing the range of emotions birds can feel and display? Funny how when people look at birds "out there" they don't think of them as animals with likes and dislikes, jealousy, immense love, capable of completely losing their temper, throwing birdie tantrums or master manipulators. Yet, here we are, lol.

Yes,indeed, their complex alright, LOL! I thought her actions were a hoot, just hope it's only directed to just Smokey!
