Two cockatiels: Sharlett (Cinnamon Pied) and Data (White-Faced Pied)
(Sorry for the lack of activity, my anxiety had flared up recently and I was being a bit scatterbrained!)

So Sharlett and Data got to go play outside in our backyard yesterday and today! They were a bit nervous at first but they seemed to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine! (Their wings are clipped so they can't fly very far and I sit down with them. But once I get harnesses for them I plan to take them on walks!)

They are a bit skittish and Data is acting like a big chicken! (Which, as they are prey animals, is to be expected.) A Robin landed a short distance from us and looked at the tiels and Data was scared of him, lol. (Even though he mimics robins and talks to them sometimes). He as been staying very close to his mommy because he gets scared. :01: Sharlett is a bit more adventurous (which is surprising since she is the more skittish of the two) but she will look to me when something startles her! Other birds seem very interested in Sharlett and Data!

I will post pictures soon!

Great to see you here and so nice to hear about Data and Sharlett's big outdoor adventure! I'm sorry anxiety is giving you a hard time, I'm glad you have your feathered friends to comfort you. Looking forward to pics of your little cuties.

Thanks! I am going on a trip soon and I'll be gone for a week so my grandpa (who is really good with animals, especially birds) will spoil the house dinosaurs while I'm gone. I was a bit nervous about being away from them for so long, lol. That plus some other things probably caused it. But I'm better now! I hope all of you are doing fine too!

Every time a car or truck goes by, I announce it to the birds so they don't get too scared. And Data started talking a bit when we were outside which was cute!

LOL "house dinosaurs"... they certainly take over the house don't they those little feathered monsters :)

YES! YES THEY DO! Lol, and they take over your heart. It's so hard not to spoil them rotten!

Welcome back. 'Tiels are great comforters. It is funny about the "dinosaurs," as I call Baby "my little dinosaur" at times too. Definitely spoiled. They love being outside and can't wait to see some pictures of them in nature.

I have an album of the birds linked to my profile! I will post the pictures of them there! And thank you! That is cute that you call Baby a dinosaur!
