Amy a Blue Front 'Zon
Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(
And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
... if anyone is old enough to remember Frank Zappa and The Mother's of Invention.. " He though he was a man,but he was a muffin".. ok...showing my age here
At any rate..it seem's like these muffin's are a big hit with both fid's..YIPPIEEEE Beeb's is definitely scarfing his pieces I mix with his daily grub,I just find bit's and pieces in his nummy bowl.
Amy get's a little more than BB,and I give it to him in chunks, only to find mostly crumbs left.
As mentioned on the Cockatiel sub forum,it also look's like the muff's are helping with BB's poo,a lot less watery and more solid. At first his poo was a very strange color, brownish with tiny "pieces".
Now I think his little digestive tract is getting used to them. The last poo I really had a chance to examine was exactly what it should look like.
There really isn't any chance for either of them to pick thru the muffin for just what they are interested in.
I just hope they don't get bored with them!
Again,I did take a small nibble of one,and they really aren't half bad lol. I think adding the little bit of honey helped out!
