They make us so proud

Mishka will talk nonstop on her playpen and in her cage.
Every night Mishka sits on my lap for about an hour.
I talk to her nonstop.
She has never said a word to me while on my lap.
On Monday night she snuggled up to me and said mommy uppies.
I picker her up, she was facing my face and said mommy mommy love you..
I had tears in my eyes,
It was so touching to hear her talk so close to me.
I then started saying all the thing we say and she replied on que every time.
Now whenever sitting on my lap she can't wait to uppies and just chat.
It has taken 1 year, eleven and a half months to get there...
IT HAS ALL BEEN SO WORTH IT

Awwwwwwwwwww how sweet. I can just imagine how proud and full of love you are for Mishka. I can't wait until Rosie is talking. Thanks for sharing with the forum.

Love and perseverance go a long way.
I still play her my homemade Cd's, with all the words I have taught her.
She is now having small conversations with me.
Her latest challenge ... singing Baa Baa Black Sheep, she has learnt the first line perfectly....
Sure Rosie will start saying a few words soon.
