they might mate

Of my three budgies, two of them are in love and they are bonded. I don't want them to breed or anything, but lately I noticed eva putting her bottom up in the air and tweety kinda putting his foot on her back gently. I don't have any nesting box set up. So my questions is, can they mate without laying eggs?

what they are doing is just fooling with each other mating is a whole other thing but I bet if you were to put a nest in there they woudl go to town LOL !!!

ok, good, I mean, they love each other it was love at first sight with those two and I don't want to stop whats natural but I also don't want to encourage it with a nesting box. And I would never seperate them. so good thing lol
