My birds leg was cut yesterday and I really need some tips to make him more active because he looks kinda sad and he fears ppl so I really need tips to help with that and I also find it really difficult for me because I fear hurting him more so I avoid taking him and playing with him.

Yep, this happened yesterday
Well with that happening so recently, I’d disturb him as little as possible while he’s healing from his amputation.
Just give him whatever he’ll eat during this time and keep him nice and warm.

But i really don’t know what temp is considered warm to him + how many months does it take for him to fully heal?

I forgot to ask him..
Could you call the vet and ask maybe? They’d know what’s best for your bird since they’ve seen him in person.
