Tounge in cheek?

My blue and gold Azure was messing with her tounge and we could see something there but wasn't sure what it was. We took her to the vet and was told she had a bump but it didn't look like anything. She gave me an anti-inflammatory and off we went. About 6 weeks later Azure needed her implant to stop her from being sexy so we planned on checking out her tounge since the bump hadn't changed. The vet said there was a little bit of extra skin and that was it
. Nothing under, inside, farther in her mouth or any other abnormalities. I am thankful we had the opportunity to check this. Has anyone heard about this?

No, but I'd love to know how the implant worked. I have a very oversexed female budgie I plan to get the implant for.

This will be her second one
She got it after she became egg bound. She had been laying eggs off and on for the last 15 years without an issue. The monster egg caused terrible distress. They say the implant last 6 months to a year (which we win the 1 year lottery.) They put them out and the implant it's by the wing joint. It takes 2 to 3 days to kick in and that's itt.
