The 4 year old Amazon is a great bird has a personality my style laid back over my other birds. It was said an older couple owned him but he loves my youngest boy. He is hilarious he talks like crazy and makes all these cool sounds great personality good bird.

Please take the time to 'Read Out Loud' to your Amazon several times a day for several weeks! My recommended reading would be the Understanding Amazon Body Language at the Top of the Amazon Forum (highlighted in light blue). Both you and your son can take turns! This does two things: First sets in both of your minds the basics of Amazon Body Language (communication) and second, it works to build a stronger bond between everyone!

NOTE: Amazons can and do become one person Parrots! By everyone being involved with the Amazon (socializing with everyone) that Bond will be less of an issue! Everyone gets to provide the Amazon with so thing that that Amazon enjoys. As the person that the Amazon Bonds with becomes clearer, they get less of the good things to provide and the others then get those items to provide. The goal is that everyone is liked and not everyone is on the outs and only one gets to handle the Amazon! Begin working now to assure that everyone has a open relationship with the Amazon.
