Hi and thank you for allowing me to be part of your community ❤️
I am a new breeder of lineolated parakeets, GC Conures, and Indian Ringnecks.
I am not new to Bird ownership. I have recently become owned by 2 beautiful Eclectus who I absolutely adore. Yes I have heard all the horror stories......LOL
I am looking forward to growing and learning from fellow bird lovers.
At the moment my struggle is colour mutations. I’m still in the crawling stage. My goal is to achieve mauve.

Hello, and welcome to the Parrot Forums family!

You will find some members here quite knowledgeable about breeding and raising parrots, especially in the sub-forum dedicated to that topic. How new are you to breeding? Have you raised baby birds, before? And do you have a more experienced breeder on-hand to serve as a mentor if you haven't? I only ask because breeding can be difficult, and lives can be lost under the best of circumstances.

As for your two eclectus parrots, no horror stories, here! I have two ekkies that do no wrong in my eyes! Lol!

Hello & welcome to the forum! I'd love to see pictures of your flock, we do love pictures here:)
I'm so happy you joined us.

Welcome and be welcomed.

Welcome to the forums to you and your flock! :)

Welcome aboard, looking forward to learning more about your flock!

This may be the cutest ID yet.................... tweetheart? cute:)

Hi :)
I no longer raise gccs but I’m familiar with their mutations. I raise IRNs :)

Mauve isn’t complicated to produce but it will likely take some time just based on stock availability. It’s actually a goal of mine as well. In fact I would like to produce a DF violet DF Dark (mauve) Blue IRN.

Thank you for the kind welcomes. I have only been breading for just over two years. I do have access to reputable breeders in my area who are kindly willing to help if and when needed. I was taught how to hand feed by a breeder as well. I do good with feeding and haven’t lost a baby. I’m sure that I will run into a lot of thing as I understand I am very new. I’ve been very fortunate to have found some great people. I will definitely be posting pic. Look forward to learning from everyone.
