UK Vets: Portsmouth.

Greetings,

While it's unlikely that there are many people here that live around Portsmouth, I thought I'd ask, just in case. I'm looking around at what appears to be a meagre offering of Avian vets, with a few specialized (had to s/z to avoid filter) people being a long way away. I'm thinking about registering at the Pompey branch of CompanionCare; there isn't much than I can find.

A long shot, but it never hurts to ask for recommendations.

I know this a bit old but came across this post via google

we had a problem with our B&G macaw (Magic) about 18 months ago an initially went to companion care
they were looking at a major operation but didnt want to undertake it themselves so refered us to John Chitty at John Chitty | Anton Vets
John was really good and thankfully managed to treat magic without major surgery
I cannot praise John highly enough and tbh would not take magic anywhere else now

I'll second John Chitty. He'll be the nearest to you, as well (based in Andover, comes to Hythe, Southampton, once a week).
